    It seems from these images your year was full of many blessings and inspirations. I like how both collections end with solitude. I think this is a heart felt way to reflect on your year. I may try to join in after Christmas, as the new year approaches. Thanks for sharing with us Shari! {Perhaps it’s not a coincidence that your name practically spells sharing?}

  3. Molly says:

    My lord, your eye–it’s AMAZING.

    And I love E’s idea and will have to do it myself.

    What a clever thing, a good way to look back, a little more slowly.

  4. emily says:

    i must do this. i love the notion of reflection, of finding the beauty in the midst of the spinning. and i love this time capsule of your year.

  5. lisa s says:

    god that oct. foliage is beyond real.

    someday we will have a walk around a pond in some state somewhere….

    I’m in an overly emotional state as it is right now, but these images have pushed me over the top in the best way possible. I got teary-eyed from taking in their beauty. Seriously. Thank you so much for sharing it with us.

  8. hannah says:

    shari this is so lovely. look how good reflecting on the past is! and yes, that night was so good for me too. i can’t wait to do this! this weekend!

    what a lovely way to walk down memory lane. i wonder when you eat your garlic if you think of planting them by lantern light? :). thanks for sharing your bits of the year with us.
